A ready-meal vending machine for your site
A good lunch.Right here.
JemBOX is a vending machine with proper ready meals by Jem. Employees buy lunch on site, and the machine heats it and serves it — no kitchen, no staff and no need to leave the premises.
- You don't buy the machine and don't run it
- 3-month pilot — judged on real sales
- Especially for sites with shift work

The problem
On the second and third shift, a hot meal is often a matter of luck
Canteen and catering are closed
Once the kitchen or catering stops for the day, what's left are snacks, sandwiches or nothing.
Short break, shop far away
In logistics parks and industrial zones, the nearest food is often out of reach during a break.
Your own kitchen is a big project
Space, equipment, staff and hygiene requirements — for many sites it simply doesn't pay off.
Locations
Where JemBOX makes the most sense
Every site is different. We work best where people work long hours or in shifts and access to hot food on site is limited.

Logistics centres, warehouses, sorting hubs
Large teams, shift work and often a location far from restaurants.
The challenge
- night shift with no access to a hot meal
- short break and a long way to a shop or petrol station
- no space — and no point — in running your own kitchen
What JemBOX brings
- a hot meal in the break area, during the break
- available on the second and third shift too — during the site's working hours
- an extra amenity that improves everyday working comfort

Manufacturing plants
Shift work, fixed break times and employees who can't leave the premises.
The challenge
- the canteen runs on one shift only, or there is none
- leaving the premises takes too long
- employees bring food from home or eat snacks
What JemBOX brings
- a proper lunch without leaving the plant
- zero extra work for your admin team — we run everything
- a solution that's easy to test in a pilot

Transport depots and parks with driver traffic
Drivers and depot staff arrive at all hours, often when restaurants are closed.
The challenge
- irregular arrival and departure times
- nearby food outlets closed in the evening and at night
What JemBOX brings
- a hot meal whenever a driver has a moment
- cashless payment, no queue and no staff needed

Office buildings and business parks
In offices JemBOX doesn't replace catering — it fills the gaps catering doesn't reach.
The challenge
- catering has to be ordered in advance
- after hours and on overtime days there's no hot meal
What JemBOX brings
- lunch “right now”, no advance ordering
- an extra service for tenants and employees
Where the same small group of people works every day and catering already works well, we always check together first whether a machine makes sense.

Cold-chain control
Meals are stored in a chilled compartment, and we check use-by dates and stock rotation at every restock.

The operator, together with the producer, is responsible for the meals and their handling in the machine, as required by law. Your site provides the space and power.
FAQ
Questions we hear most often
Can't find your question? Write to us — we'll answer specifically for your site.
Costs and partnership
How much does the machine cost us?
Nothing — you don't buy anything. We deliver, set up and run the JemBOX machine at our own cost. For the pilot we propose no fee for the space, and we cover the electricity used.
What does our company or site gain?
Above all, a convenience for people: a hot, proper meal on site, without leaving the building and without running a kitchen. We don't promise the machine will be a significant source of income for you — its role is convenience for employees and tenants with zero effort on your side.
Do we have to guarantee minimum sales?
No. There is no guaranteed minimum during the pilot. The sales risk is ours.
What happens after the pilot?
We agree on the terms of further cooperation together, based on actual sales data — or we end the cooperation if the results don't satisfy both sides.
Space and installation
How much space does the machine need?
The machine is 1940 mm tall. We share the full dimensions and placement requirements before visiting your site. A little free space in front of the machine is also needed for users and for service.
Where is the best place for the machine?
Where people naturally take their break: in the break area, staff room, by the changing rooms or at the staff entrance. We choose the spot together during the visit.
Who handles transport and installation?
We do. We set the delivery date only after agreeing on the spot and the terms. We arrange bringing in and setting up the machine ourselves, in coordination with your building management.
Service
Who restocks the machine and keeps it clean?
The JemBOX team: restocking, checking use-by dates, cleaning the machine and its surroundings and collecting unsold products. There are no operational duties on your side.
Food
Who makes the meals?
The meals are produced by a specialised production plant under industrial conditions and delivered in sealed packaging. We don't prepare or repack food.
Won't people get bored of the meals? It's the same people here every day.
That's a fair concern. That's why we choose the range based on a tasting with your staff, track sales of every meal and replace those that don't sell. The pilot will show whether interest holds after the first month — which is exactly why it requires no commitment from you.
We already have catering. Why a machine?
The machine doesn't have to compete with catering — it can complement it. It's also available when catering isn't: on the second and third shift, in the evening, at weekends or when someone missed the order. Availability depends on your site's opening hours.
Can we try the meals first?
Yes. We organise a tasting for employees or tenants with a short survey — the results help choose the starting menu. We take care of the organisation.
How do we know people will actually buy?
We suggest simple research on our side: a short survey (e.g. a QR code on a poster in the break area) and a tasting. You don't have to walk round the offices or send emails yourself. The pilot will give the final answer.
Is there information on ingredients and allergens?
Yes. Every portion has a label with the legally required information, including the list of ingredients, allergens and the use-by date.
Formalities and contract
Do we have to register anything with the sanitary authority (Sanepid)?
The hygiene formalities related to the machine and food sales — registration in the register of establishments kept by the Polish State Sanitary Inspection and notification of the machine — are handled by the JemBOX operator, not by your site. We confirm the requirements for each specific location with the competent sanitary station before installation.
Who is responsible for food safety?
The JemBOX operator, together with the producer, is responsible for the product and its handling in the machine, in line with applicable law. Your site provides the space and power.
Who is responsible for the machine?
The machine is our property and we are responsible for its technical condition. The details are set out in the contract.
How long is the contract?
For the pilot we propose 3 months with the option of earlier termination. No long-term commitments to start with.
Can we move or return the machine later?
Yes. If the machine doesn't work out or your needs change, we'll move it or collect it at our cost within the period set in the contract.
Who decides on our side — the tenant or the building manager?
It depends on the site. We help establish who makes the decision and prepare the information that person needs.
